I really had a hard time today inserting a photo. I tried and tried. I quit for awhile and went back. I searched for different photos. They didn’t work either. I quit again and decided to look up hummingbirds. You see, while I was working today twice a hummingbird has come to the window and watched me. When I looked them up, I realized they were supposed to be part of this blog. I don’t believe in coincidences. So I went back and searched for “skeleton keys and hummingbirds”. Of course, this picture downloaded quickly and easily. You just have to love it. So here we go with…
For your consideration…
Let’s think about keys today. Do you remember when you got your first key to the house? You became of an age when your parents felt you could be in charge of one. Or maybe it was when you got your own place. No matter you had a key and there is a master key somewhere.
We all came with a key to our life. Of course, God has a master key in case we get lost so we have no need to be panicked.
This key is the key to the lock on our Core Essence Self and our power. Should we ever give that away? NEVER. Some of us are really trusting and have from time to time ventured from this rule. Some of us have gotten really hurt when we have done this. Still for others it has seemed ok. But it isn’t. People who love us never take our power from us. They celebrate and honor it with us.
What are you doing with your key? Are you staying locked inside? Are you hiding behind your door? Or are you stepping out of your comfort zone and exploring?
No groaning allowed. If this was Let’s Make a Deal, every one of you would be screaming to unlock any one of the doors. And even if you didn’t get the door you were hoping for you would be glad you tried.
Life is no different. Risk is how we look at it. Is it an adventure and exciting? Or is it scary even terrifying? What is the worse case senario? The door could be slammed in your face. Hey, you have the last laugh. Remember, you have the key. No one else. You could fail? Who says? Who defines your failure? You do. You have the key to your Core Essence Self and failure does not touch your perfection unless you let it.
Sometimes we don’t get the outcome we are looking for. Who says that is a failure? Maybe it isn’t a failure at all. Maybe it is the lesson we needed for something much bigger. Maybe we shouldn’t have been focused on the outcome because our goal was too limiting. Maybe this was just a step to attaining our highest good.There is always another step. Keep walking. Keep opening the door. You have the key.
So where does those two hummingbirds come into all of this? Two is the number that represents our inner self, our Core Essence Self.
The book, Animal-Speak by Ted Andrews, states, “Hummingbirds symbolize accomplishing that which seems impossible. It will teach you how to find the miracle of joyful living from your own life circumstances.”
This a huge affirmation for what we are considering today. There are no coincidences. Those Hummingbirds did not show up here as I was writing this because I look good in my PJ’s and I don’t have a feeder. They just wanted us to know the power we have to realize our own joy.
If we own up to the power of our perfect Core Essence Self and hold onto our HOPE, we will find joy.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps any one can do…..
-Call or write someone you have been hesitant to contact.
-Pause for as long as you can.
-Take 10 deep breaths outdoors.
-Drink 1 more glass of water than you did yesterday
-Go for a walk. What comes across your path? What is the message for you?
-Consider buying the book “Animal-Speak by Ted Andrews. It is a great resource.
