For your consideration…

My sense is that today’s message continues yesterday’s message about speaking our own original thoughts. Today’s message asks us to be our authentic self. It asks us to let all facades fall away and stand in our truth.

We might think, “I am myself. I always do that.” But do we? What about when we meet strangers? What about in new places? What about with our co-workers or boss? What about with our neighbors?

Have you heard the saying, “You never know what goes on beside closed doors?” Most of us tend to believe that as we should because in many if not most cases, it is true.

Too often, we hide ourselves in plain sight. We morph into the person we think best suits the moment. And we think this is for our highest good and the highest good of all. But this is not true. Our authentic self is always the right person in every situation. We are asked “Be You.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.” (Just as I am…true authentic self.)

-Remember…”I am the keeper of the light. Wherever I go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Finally a bit of rain.

-Spending the morning with Conner.

-Catching up with Mary. I’m so excited she is going ahead and getting her puppy.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
