For your consideration…

I think today’s message is fun. It reminds us that there is no shame in not knowing.

Probably most of us at one time or another have acted like we knew something that we really didn’t Perhaps we are covering because we forgot. Perhaps we are covering because we thought we should have known something but didn’t. I remember a man who worked for me. He was an incredible worker. He did his job rarely making a mistake and never complaining. After many months working for me, I asked him to do something that was out of the norm. It was then I discovered he could not read. My heart broke for him.

Our message today reminds us that there is no shame in not knowing. Not knowing creates opportunities to learn. Our attitude is everything. Don’t be embarrassed that we don’t know. Be excited to learn and grow.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Embrace opportunities to learn.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A fun school day. I love this class I have for summer school. Did I mention yesterday that they mixed 60 pounds of quikrete by themselves for stepping stones on Monday? Yesterday they painted and made wind socks.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-Not much time to read but got a great nights sleep.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
