For your consideration…

We have had a lot of messages lately dealing with “what might happen.” We have been reminded that our history proves that we can deal with whatever is put in our path. We have been reminded expect the unexpected with a positive attitude.

Today’s message asks us to consider something different. Consider the why…”Why did I get a nail in my tire?” “Why did I suddenly pass out, fall, break my jaw, and puncture my eardrum?” “Why did I get stuck in traffic?” “Why didn’t I get the promotion?”

We question things that happen to us all of the time. If we believe in Divine Timing and Divine Purpose, then we must believe that there is always a reason. Everything is exactly as it is supposed to be. Maybe that nail in the tire created a delay forcing a rest, or putting us in a place we need to be. Perhaps the passing out forces a health evaluation to catch health issue. Perhaps being stuck in traffic keeps us from being in an accident. Often we never know the blessings behind the “bumps” in our road. This is where our Faith comes in and we are grateful for unknown blessings.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are light. Wherever you go there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Have Faith in the unknown.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Picking up Conner, spending the night with him and Alex.

-Catching up with Shannon and Mary.

-I love when I get a bargain and they turn out to be even more beautiful than I could have expected.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
