For your consideration…

We are reminded today that is is important for us to stay grounded…keep our foundation in tack. Unfortunately no one can do this for us. It is up to us to recognize our own cracks and repair them.

It is sometimes easier for us to feel our self off balance when big life events happen to us. We may even expect it. However, much more common and much easier to miss is the little things in every day life. Every day life can wear away at our foundation. Our spirit can start to erode away from our truth and life  purpose.

Each of us have different ways of staying whole. For many it is habit…meditating, praying, exercise, writing, listening to music, therapy, etc. It is important that whatever works for us is important and we need to be diligent with it. When we let life intrude and disrupt us, it is easier for us to get pulled away from foundation and become off center.

If we feel “off,” we need to stop and address it. Our soul is like anything else. Keeping it healthy through regular practice is much easier than trying to heal a fracture.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take care of your soul…your foundation.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Mary, Joan and I went out to lunch.

-The last bingo at the Moose for the rest of the summer.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
