For your consideration…

We all are born with unique lessons to be learned and mastered. We are all given unique trials and tribulations to help us do that. We do not get to choose them nor do we pick the timing.

What we do get to do is choose how we handle them. We get to choose how we get through them. We get to choose how we let them change us. We get to choose our attitude. In other words to we let them embitter us or humble us? Do we let them empower us and make us stronger? Or do we let them diminish us and make us less than we were? Will we learn from them or be destined to repeat them? Will we choose gratitude or resentment?

We have a choice. We always have a choice but remember this. There is always a solution in play. There is always a way through. God has already set it up. We can and will make it through tough times. There is no question about that. How we do it is largely up to us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live with grace.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A trip to the nail salon.

-Picking Conner up from school.

-As I fed him dinner he said, “Mimi, this is what we  had at your house yesterday.” And it was. It was the Chinese leftovers.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
