For your consideration…

There are 2 related parts to today’s message.

The first one is that we have to stop beating ourselves up as ourselves, as a nation, as part of humanity. You know most countries have been occupied, borders changed, etc. Yet you don’t hear them beating themselves us for it. That seems to be unique to the United States. Native Americans and slavery are still a touchy subject hundreds of years later. Can we do better? Of course. That is where we need to be focused. We can not change the past but we can control how it affects our future.

The second part of the message reminds us that each and every one of us was born with the highest stamp of approval by the ultimate quality control manager…God. No one is born without it.

YWe are a light workers born to do goods things. Never doubt that. We are never too old or young to be a light to others…our humanity….our world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“You are loved.” Never doubt it.

-You are more than you thing you are.

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Get outdoors and take in 10 deep breaths. Remember, they don’t have to be all at once.

–Drink lots of water.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A wonderful walking trip around Sorrento, Italy.

-Lunch in a 200 year old lemon grove.

-Final shopping.

-A good book.
