For your consideration…

Today’s message may seem sad or a bit depressing. But it is not meant to. It is simply meant to tell us that time is precious.

I’m getting ready to head home from Italy and found myself wondering, “Is this the last time I will every come here?” When I sold my husband’s truck, I found myself wondering about the last time he drove it and never knew it would be his last time. When my sister-in-law and I were taking care of their aunts. both of them fell at their homes and were taken by ambulance to the hospital. As I cleaned out Aunt Mary’s apartment I thought, did she know she would never see her apartment and things again?

Of course, the answer to all of these scenarios is, no. Moments are fleeting. And there is no guarantees. We know this but today we are given a little reminder.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…You are loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Treat time as a gift…a blessing.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A visit to an Italian cooking school.

-A nap by the poo

-l.finished a book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
