For your consideration…

Yikes, for sure I am one of the intended targets for today’s message. I live in Michigan and this week there have been rallies in Dearborn shouting, “Death to America.” I admit this infuriates me. I admit that I do not understand people who would come to another country that they hate versus stay in their own. I admit that I would like their free speech stopped.

But our message today says that is wrong thinking. Free speech should be an absolute right in every part of God’s kingdom. Our message today tells us that shutting down free speech is never the answer. Refusing to let people speak their opinions, voice their concerns, and even vent outrageousness is not a solution.

Our message today tells us that it is up to us to hear and filter out what is true. It is easy to filter out the outrageous. But there is much more that we need to filter out. Indeed, much of what is on the news is not true. The media is biased. We are the guinea pigs they are marketing to in order to spread their agenda. An agenda that benefits them, not necessarily their listeners.

We have personal responsibility. We are the keepers of our personal power. It is up to us to take everything with a grain of salt…no matter who the speaker. friend or foe, or media outlet is…until we ferret out the truth. The truth and only the truth is what we should let into our authentic self…our soul and share it. If we do not know it to be true, we need to shut it down and release it to the Universe to heal.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Ferret out what is true.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Finally got my taxes submitted.

-Finally got Louie his new receiver for the dog fence.

-Catching up with Mary, Alex, and Jackie.

-Finished a good book series.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
