For your consideration…

Why? Why are we sad? Why are we procrastinating? Why are we disappointed? Etc. Etc. Etc.

To turn sad into happy we have to know what has made us sad. We have to know the why. To become productive and getting things done we have to know what is holding us back and why. To once again feel optimistic we have to know what made us so disappointed and perhaps cynical and why.

It is not enough to know what is holding us back. We have to drill down to the why. We have to get to the root of our problems.

Today…actually everyday…we are asked to get still and drill down to the root of what is causing us problems and also identify what is making us happy and successful.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Ask the tough questions. Drill down to the “why.”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Mary.

-Surprising Conner at school for his pickup. Louie had to have most of his hair cut off due because it was so long and matted from vacation. Conner didn’t recognize him. He asked me, “What is your puppy’s name?”

-A new mystery.

Love, Blessings, and gratitude,

Rev. Chris
