For your consideration…

Today’s message is a good reminder for everyone no matter the age. We are forever learners. Up until our last moments we can and should continue to learn and grow.

Yet throughout our lives we sometimes struggle. Often fear holds us back. Or fear of failure can do the same. For the most part they are both unfounded. Perhaps we are worried about how others will perceive us. Again, the question is why? Why does it matter? It is our journey, our lessons. Maybe we think we “missed the boat.” Again, “Who says? Perhaps it is a new boat.” Perhaps we are waiting for someone to “do it” with us. It is great to have a partner but if we don’t, that should deter us from trying. Or maybe we should reach out to more people. If we are old, we may think, “What is the point?”

You get the point. If we are considering doing something new or going somewhere new, we should do it. Expanding our life experiences helps us to gain perspective. It helps us see through different filters. It helps us to gain wisdom and confidence.

We are asked today to keep trying with a positive and non-judgmental attitude.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try…try new things…

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-My yearly derm appointment is done.

-Catching up with Mary.

-Louie and I went to see Conner, Moose, James, and Alex. It was so fun.

-Catching up on Jeopardy…I was without TV for 2 months which was great but I do miss the mental challenges of the game shows.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
