For your consideration…

Why are we here? What is our purpose? These are our common life questions.

We often here we are created perfectly as God intended. Think about that. No where are we told that we are perfect. No, we are created perfectly to learn and master life lessons. We are here to learn and grow.

To often many if not most of us try to hide our imperfections. Perhaps we are embarrassed or ashamed. But when we do this we are not living our true authentic self.

Consider this. If we are hiding the very self we are here to heal and grow, are we hindering or helping ourselves? People, places, things, situations, tools, etc. are all put into play exactly as we need them. If we are hiding our authentic self, our truth, then we are delaying the opportunity we need to heal, learn, and grow. Are we always right? No, that is the point we are students.

We are asked today to own our truth…our true self…our authentic self. Let it take the lead, front and center. If we make a mistake, so be it. Make it right and learn from it. It is never to late to become all that we are meant to be.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live authentically. Live your truth.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A beach afternoon with Louie.

-Saw some friends and met a new friend from Vermont, Hanna

-My friend, Jim, would be proud of me. He always says, “If the author does not grab your attention in the first 25 pages, quit the book.” I gave it more than that but I quit two books yesterday. I am no happy with a new mystery.

-Catching up with Jackie.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
