For your consideration…

I often mention “following the sign” that are constantly put in front of us. I woke up with Jimmy Buffet lyrics playing in my head. I knew the lyrics but not the song title. I laughed when I saw the title and the immediate image that was given to me about following the bubbles. A couple of days ago I was floating in the sea when I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye. When I looked, I saw bubbles and rings on the surface of the sea. I love the sea but freely admit that I am not without some fear. I thought to myself, “Yikes, I wonder what caused that?” A minute later two scuba divers surfaced next to me. I laughed and told them about being relieved that it was them.

When you read some of the lyrics to “Bubbles Up,” remember that the bubbles in your life may be people, places, truth, things, etc., it is what brings your peace, comfort, and love. When we find ourselves out of sorts, sad, lonely, angry, etc. , follow your bubbles.

When this world starts a-reelin’From that pressure drop feelin’We’re just treading water every dayThere’s a way to feel betterBe well set to weatherThe storms ’til the sun shines again
When your compass is spinnin’And you’re lost on the wayLike a leaf in the wind, friendHear me when I say
Bubbles upThey will point you towards homeNo matter how deep or how far you roamThey will show you the surface, the plot and the purposeSo, when the journey gets longJust know you’re lovedThere is light up aboveAnd the joy is always enoughBubbles up
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…:”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Follow your bubbles until you see the light again.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Beach time.
-Catching up with Alex and Conner.
-A funny book.
Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
