For your consideration…

Wow, I love when this happens. Today’s message tags onto yesterday’s. Remember, it was tho take a different or higher level look and/or clear a path so we could see more clearly?

While we can all benefit from this message, I am very clearly hearing that is targeted to someone who really needs it today.

Today’s message is very clear. In it the “forest” of yesterday’s message is our “emotional congestion.” It came to us via the grackle messenger who is all about overcoming excess and emotional congestion…we might call it baggage.

We are asked to look at what is going on in our lives differently. Situations are not always as they appear and we can benefit from different look.

Are we finding ourselves telling and retelling our story to anyone who will listen looking for an agreeing or sympathetic ear? Is this helping or aggravating the situation. Are we talking too much and not doing enough? Sometimes we need to take a step back and a step up. Rather than talking to anyone who will listen to our tales of woe, maybe we should consider finding a quiet spot that is soothing to us and go within. Emotions not dealt with can congest our lives and even lead to illnesses like pneumonia.

Today’s message is asking us to deal with our emotional congestion. We no longer need this baggage as it does not serve our highest good and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take care of our emotions.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Louie and I spent the afternoon at the beach. We met people from Michigan and Pennsylvania.

-Catching up with Kathy, Mary, Shannon and Will.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
