For your consideration…
“Santa Claus is Coming to Town” is the song that brings in today’s message. I agree it seems strange but that’s what we got. Specifically we are given these lyrics,“making a list and checking it twice. Even Santa double checks to make sure he has everything right.
We are reminded that yes, opportunities and blessings will be put in front of us but it is up to us to accept them and put in the work. Our HOPEs and dreams are worth working for. They are worth the extra effort of taking the steps to make them a reality. They are also worth checking and even rechecking to make sure we have put those steps in place. As crafters and woodworkers say…”measure twice and cut once.”
If it is important take the time to check and make sure what you need is in play.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light, Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask… “What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-If you have doubts about what you are given, ask again.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Louie and I spent all afternoon at the beach.
-Catching up with Mary, Shannon, and Alex.
-A good book series.
