For your consideration…

How appropriate that we shou!ld get a message about love on Valentine’s Day!

We often have message reminding us that only love is real. Or love makes everything better.. Or evil is the absence of love….etc, etc, etc.

.Today’s message is a bit different and pretty specific. Consistency of love is key

It is easy to love when we are happy and not so much when we are angry. It is easy to love when we are excited and proud and not so much when we are disappointed. It is easy to love friends and family (most of the time) and not so much enemies or people who are not nice to us. It is easy to love when we are getting the results we want to see and not so much when we aren’t.

Yet, our message tells us, that is is exactly when we need to stay the course. Love anyway. Believe in love anyway. Any situation benefits from love. There are no exceptions. Sure we may have to be “the heavy” sometimes with tough love but holding the intention and delivering it with love is a changer even if we do not see it.

Act with love in every situation with every person, place, or thing. Consistency is the key.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Be consistent with your own love.

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-No power for most of the day…of well…just had to go to the beach. (Thus the late blog yesterday.)

-Catching up with Mary.

-My grandson is president of his fraternity at Michigan State University. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the horrible shooting there. AJ brought in a petting zoo…animals to cuddle with and give love too.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
