For your consideration…

“Yet” is a tiny big word. What makes this tiny word bid? It is full of HOPE. The only way to take HOPE away from this tiny word is to add a negative word with it. On the flip side, any negative statement can be changed to a HOPEful one when we add the word yet.

With our little students we try to teach this to them when they are frustrated. When they lament that they can’t, we tell them to add the word “yet.”

Today we are given the word yet to use in our belief system. Think about it. We only understand a fraction of how time, the Universe, our God, etc. work. We assume. We have hypothesis. For sure, we have learned a lot. If we think about where we were a year, ten years, fifty, or a hundred years, we can see how far we have come. We can also see what we once thought as impossible is now not only possible but the norm. What is Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, etc. stopped at “can’t” without thinking about “yet?”

We are reminded to “believe.” Believe that the impossible is possible.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Believe. in the impossible.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

A wonderful afternoon at the beach. We met people from the Netherlands and Sweden.

-Catching up with Alex, James, Conner, Mary, and Jody.

-The island fish monger scored some great lobster tails and shrimp for me.

-A good book.
