For your consideration…
We have many messages about moments. We are asked to be fully present in the one we are in neither giving the past or future control of it.
On my email signature my tag line is “Make every moment count for God has made it perfect.” As we think about that, we may tend to think that we don’t have to do anything. Our message today says “Not true.” We have free will. We have to take what is presented to us in each moment and maximize it.
Today’s message uses building blocks as an example. Think about that two year old. Every block he picks up and uses teaches him something; foundation, stacking, what works, what doesn’t, confidence, thinking, planning, etc. Moments are our building blocks. We need this moment to create our future. We are asked to use it and master it for our highest good and the highest good of all.
And remember, being fully present in the moment is not automatic. It takes practice.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE” by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…”I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep bresths.
-Use the present moment to its fullest advantage to build your future.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Bills paid.
-Found a nail salon. I was the only one in there and it took 3 hours to complete them. That sounds ridiculous but I have to say, it is the best job I have ever had done.
-Catching up with Conner, Alex, and Mary.
-A good book.
