Spirit of  Hope

For your consideration……

The minute I saw this picture, I knew it was perfect for today’s message. Then when I found that it was titled “Spirit of Hope”, I was blown away.

Today’s message is short little hug of reassurance.

“A new energy has been opened up. Relax into it and go with its flow.”

Everyone feels this energy and many feel the need to “speed” up. We feel this way because it is different and we feel a little off-balance.

I was given the analogy of snorkeling. (I apologize if you are not snorkelers. I am given information in a way I will understand.) In snorkeling you put your mouthpiece in and you know you are to breathe through it. But that first couple of seconds when you submerge are weird…different….you have to tell yourself you are ok. You still want to breath through your nose. You have to remind yourself to just relax and breath through your mouth. And sure enough when you relax into it, it all works just fine.

This new energy is good for us. It is just new and different. We need only relax and learn to work with it. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can do…..

-Meditate. Relax. Where you are is perfect. Just go with it without judgement.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Carry your joy with you and share it.

-Journal…..Do a “T” chart. Title it 2011. On the left side left write down everything you loved about this year. On the right side write down what you would have changed if you had the opportunity. Be grateful for those things on your left side. Make a positive affirmation around everything on the right side of your chart. Release each of them for healing and then say the affirmation you have written. It’s called healing.

What made me smile yesterday……

-No rush. No hurry. Just a slow and steady morning with Alex and Bruce.

-A great family get together at Jeff and Kerri’s. Wonderful food and family time.

-Shannon, Will, AJ and Peanut topped off our night. Fun, fun, fun.

-Wonderful thoughtful gifts. Look at these from my Peanut.

-My many many blessings.

-Nick’s family were able to be with him at Walter Reed.

-My friend’s, relief that her Mike is making a recovery.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
