“Mesmerized” painting by Mikki Senkerik”

For your consideration…

Be patient, breathe, slow down…are all part of today’s message. And I ask it of you because I am absolutely flooded with today’s message.

First I was reminded of a recent message about how now of us are guaranteed the next moment. We were/are asked to be fully present in this one and make the most of it. I am not sure if  it has been the same for most of you but it seemed like before the holidays many people I know passed or are very sick. Indeed, remember we were asked to think, act, pray with laser intention. This message was brought back to me/us because as I send healing prayers to loved ones very sick, my granddaughter lost a dear friend. This friend went out to Aspen with a handful of high school and college friends for a long weekend of skiing. She had a skiing accident and died immediately…in one moment.

We do not know what the next moment will be or if it will be for us at all. So we are reminded yet again today to pause, be patient, slow down, breathe and fully be in the one we are in. And we are asked to take it a step further…be mesmerized.

Some of you know that I am in Utila, Honduras. So you are probably thinking, “Easy for you to be mesmerized.” But in fact as I was out meditating today, it was one of the grayest days I have had here and sprinkling the whole time I was outside. I was asked to take a harder look. When I did, I saw young people. Young people like Erin, who just passed. They were up at the crack of dawn, like me. On this gray

day they were excited to go diving. I saw young people from literally all over the world who were brave enough, to come to a foreign country by themselves to learn to dive. No I did not see Mother Sun today but I saw a beautiful calming sea. I saw kind people.

I saw humble abodes. I guarantee you that each and every one of you are in luxury compared to any one I could see from where I sat or could even walk to. Again, I saw people up at the crack of dawn walking to where they need to go or if they are lucky on motorbikes….humble motor bikes. There are no Harley’s here. When you turn on your facet for water, be amazed that you can drink that water.

The point we are asked to consider is that each and every one of us are surrounded by life that can and should “mesmerize” us. And when we notice that, we are asked to take it a step further and be mesmerized by the Universe. Let your authentic self go and let your soul feel all that it has and does for you.

Many, if not most, people I know say they can’t meditate and they are not intuitive. I admit meditation takes practice. Hearing, feeling, knowing what our Guidance is telling us takes practice. But every single one of us is intuitive. Just like the animals of the Earth, we are all born with instinct and intuition.

Most of you say you could not read or give readings from oracle cards.  I said the same things years ago and then by a flux several years ago, I ended up in a class and the rest is history.Since I have many decks I read from as I am guided. The one I learned from and I thought was the easiest is the Archangel Oracle Deck by Doreen Virtue. But there is a wonderful oracle deck from Collette Baron Reid. that is even easier. It is easier because the image on the card is NOT representative of the cards message. Does this mean we should ignore any feeling we get when we see the card? NO, of course not. But what it does mean is that the message of the card is in the handbook that comes with the deck. You simply need to hold a question or concern  and then pull a card or even a simple spread and look up the cards message. I personally have had readings done by great intuitives and even they do the same thing when they use this deck. Again, this is just a suggestion but it did come in as part of today’s messages.

I know that today’s message is long. As always, remember, it is for your consideration.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be mesmerized…be amazed.-

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Meeting new people. I met a great young man Jeff from CO. He sold his house and is traveling and deciding where he wants to live. And I met people from Quebec who came here to snorkel and dive. It is amazing to hear how people find this place, find a place to stay, what they think about it, etc.

-I did get up early and get a 3 mile walk in but I have to say it kicked my butt. I ended up taking a 2 hour nap it the hammock to recoup. Yikes. I think I have some work to do.

-Watching the Lions. Good job team even though it was a hard loss.

-Of course, Lions gear is going for lots of money right now. I had to laugh when Alex put my 2 year old grandson in a Lions jersey and her husband, James, asked, “How much did that cost?” She replied, “Us nothing. But it probably cost my mom $2 or $3 at the Saline “New 2 You” resale store.”

-A new book. A mystery this time.

Gratitude, Blessings, and Love,

Rev. Chris
