For your consideration….

Whether they are from the Universe, friends, co-workers, family, kids, gifts are gifts and need to be treated as such.

I remember one time when I was a young child my mom and I were visiting he sister. At that time I did not have any siblings and I loved visiting my cousins. We were always expected to play outside. My cousins had a great idea to pick the beautiful dandelions for my mother. I thought it was a great idea and couldn’t wait to give them to her. I ran into the house bursting with the good news that I had picked her a bouquet. Her reply was, “Chris, these are dandelions. They are weeds.” I was really confused. I thought they were beautiful. As I was leaving to go back outside I haard my aunt say, “Pat, what’s wrong with you?  She brought you a gift.” My mom said asked what she should have said because they are weeds. My aunt told her she should just have accepted them with joy. Needless to say, I was confused. I thought maybe my cousins had played a trick on me. But they were excited to know what she said. When I told them she didn’t like them, they were confused so I knew then they hadn’t played a trick on me.

Without judgment, all gifts are the same. With our funny little quote today, “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.,” we are reminded to accept all gift with gratitude and joy. They are all blessings and their energy is great for the Universe.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Rememb3r…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be gtrateful for all gifts.

What made me smile yesterday.,..

–A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Mary, Jody, and Shannon.

-A good walk.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
