For your consideration…

When we are born. it is expected that we will have a long life. But no such promise was ever made to us when we agreed to this life with this life purpose. The truth is that from the moment of birth we are one step closer to the moment we return home. We never know when that moment will be. Some believers say that once we have agreed to this life and life purpose, we clearly know the plan, and then right before death our guardian angel puts her finger over our lips creating the cleft above them wiping those plans from our memory. Life begins and we live the trials and tribulations of life that we need to learn the lessons we need to complete this life purpose.

Recently I had a conversation about someones unexpected passing. We talked about them not realizing the last time they would drive, talk to their loved one, have their favorite meal, do their favorite hobby, play that last game of cards, etc….all of the normal parts of their life.

,So perhaps this does not sound life a HOPEful message. But it is. Because as we reflex on all of this, it serves to remind us to make every moment count. Be fully present in all of the important and mundane moments. Live each moment to the fullest. This way we will have no regrets.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light, Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…:”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make each moment count.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A long walk.

-Catching up with my Uncle Tim, Judy, Mary, Kathy, and Dianne.

-Lots of outdoor time.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
