You Are The Reason

For your consideration…

Our message came in via the Calum Scott song, “You Are The Reason.” I didn’t even mind that it woke me up. It is a favorite of mine and on my playlist.

HOPEfully we are all doing well reflecting and defining our “hallmark.” Today’s message is sort of about that. It is about defining our life purpose. Why are we here? What was I born to do?

Remember that God made his son in our image. We in turn are asked to be like him. This is our journey to perfect ourselves through our lives lessons. This is the reason we are here. This is the reason we are presented with opportunities, people, obstacles, etc. They are what we need to work towards perfection. We are born with the tools we need ie;  love, HOPE, determination, willingness, a brain, a soul, kindness, generosity, etc. We just need to choose to use them.

We are works in progress. There is nothing that says it is supposed to be drudgery. Indeed, we should enjoy it. Great each new day with a smile and expectations of opportunities and blessings.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember… You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Enjoy your life journey.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful snowy day….just gorgeous.

-My little Louie loves the snow.

-Caught up with laundry.

-Finished a funny book and started a new one.

-Catching up with Alex.
