This Epic Flowchart on Procrastination Applies to Pretty Much Everyone, Always | by Larry Kim | Mission.org | Medium

For your consideration…

We all do it. Depending on our personality type, some of us more than others. We all have times where we procrastinate. We have those tasks we need to get done but just put them off causing us even more stress and more of a time crunch.

Our message today tells us it is because of our ego. Our ego tells us we are not good enough. Our ego is full of what if’s keeping us frozen in place. Those are some examples. But our message today asks us to dig even deeper and consider another reason.

We are asked “Are we happy? Are we truly happy?” If we are not, if we do not have joy, it is hard to be motivated about doing anything. It is hard to tap into our ambition when we are unhappy and uninspired.

Today we are asked to take a pause and thing about…even write down…what brings you joy. Sit with that in gratitude. Take a picture of it. Refer to it often…whenever you need a boost. Then tackle what needs to be done.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there an be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray… ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Identify what brings you joy. Tap into it. Protect it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A chill day.

-Lots of writing done.

-Catching up with Jody, Bob, Mary, and Alex.

-A good book.

-Lots of writing done.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
