For your consideration…

I had questions this morning when this message came in. As in, “Isn’t this a message meant for Thanksgiving Day instead?” “No.” was the response I got.

People often seem surprised when I mention that I question my Guidance. I need to be clear that I don’t question them…their guidance, their wisdom, their intention…etc. But I sometimes have question about the message. I need clarity. Today I was just being clear that the message was meant for today.

The message today reminds us to be grateful. Of course, we will be grateful on Thanksgiving Day. However, we are being asked to be grateful every day and especially this week leading up to it. It is easy to get caught up in the “hoopla” and preparations. We can become stressed. And that is the main point of today’s message. We are asked to not let stress overshadow the true meaning and theme of the holiday. Instead be grateful, that we are healthy enough to do preparations, have people to prepare for, etc.

Relax and enjoy this week. Lean into the preparations with joy, love, and gratitude.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm..“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be grateful.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A fun morning with Conner.

-A nice clean and shiny house. Thank you, Kenia.

-A fun girl’s euchre party.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
