For your consideration…

We have lots of messages and reminders in messages about not being judgmental. We also have message like the one yesterday about always applying love.

Today’s message wants to make it very clear, however, that we are not supposed to be a doormat. Our quest for peace, to be a true to our God and religion, to be kind, to find inner peace…does not mean are meant to let others walk all over us. Nor does it mean that we should ignore our instincts when they are screaming that something is not right with a person and we should not trust them.

Just because we practice love and non-judgment, does not mean that everyone deserves our trust and loyalty. Some people just can’t help themselves and choose to learn their lessons the hard way. We can send them love and blessings without giving them our trust and making ourselves doormats. We should always stand firm in who we are and be true to ourselves and our path.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…”You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be firm and don’t let people walk all over you.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Happy Hour at Carlyles with Beth.

-We ushered at Hill Auditorium for a band from Ukraine, Dakhabrakha who were awesome.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
