Never Too Late
For your consideration…
I chose this image because I loved the quote and it deepens our message today. Our exact message is much simpler. It is exactly this, “It is never too late to change your life.”
Perhaps…HOPEfully…we are in a good place. Still, there are always ways to learn, grow, and improve our lives. They don’t have to be giant steps. They can be small. We all have things that could be imp0roved and made better. Or perhaps we have things that can be eliminated and/or replaced.
We have to be patient with ourselves. Our brains do not recognize good from bad habits. So if we want to break one or replace it, we have to make a conscious effort for a few weeks to make that happen.
Perhaps we don’t need to break a habit or eliminate anything. Still we want to learn and grow. The same thing applies. We have to make the conscious effort to do it and put in the work to make it happen until it is incorporated into our lives.
The key to today’s message is to remember and accept that we are never too old or young to make changes and improvements too our lives. And too remember that we have the power and control to do so. We just have to make the commitment. We have a choice. We always have a choice.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Make the changes you want in your life.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-I really slept in.
-A great afternoon with family and friends at Bobby’s first birthday party.
-Catching up with Jackie.
-A new book.
Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
