A Second Look

For your consideration…

For a couple of reasons I love today’s message. First is carries a serious message but it is lightened by the example.

Our example was cloud watching. For many of us, it has probably been a while since we paused to do nothing but cloud watching. Most of us probably just notice them none and then. When we cloud watch, we see different things. When we cloud watch with others, we often see different things. No matter what each of us sees, it is different but non threatening. We just respect and enjoy what each of us see.

Today’s message uses this example to encourage us to “take a second look.” Suspend judgement and take a second look. Try to see other things and ideas. Do the same with what others are showing us or their opinions. They can not hurt us. We may or may not see them the same way or even understand them. But taking a second look costs us nothing. And we have everything to gain. We may gain understanding. We may learn something new. Or it may confirm what we see, feel, and believe.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take a second look.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A fun day teaching.

-A trip to the nail salon.

-Bingo at the Moose.
