For your consideration…

Whew, it is hard to believe that it is already Labor Day. Blessings to all.

Labor Day celebrates our work and our hard work.

The word “work” often carries with it some negativity. “I have to work.” “TGIF, the weekend is here and we don’t have to work.” Or for some, we just don’t like our job.

Our message today acknowledges that often our work, job, or career is not our life purpose. There is more to our life purpose than our work. However, that does not mean there is not purpose to our work ie; we learn lessons, we learn skills, we meet people, it pays our bills, it offers us opportunities, etc.

In short, there is good reason to celebrate our hard work today.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be grateful for your work.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A birthday bash at Shannon and Will’s.

-Seeking Kelsey and Cade.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
