For your consideration…

Don’t we love the saying, “It’s five o’clock somewhere?” We use it as an excuse to chill, relax, have a drink, celebrate, etc. We look for reasons to celebrate. But our message today tells us that is backwards thinking.

Celebrating should be the norm not the exception. We should wake up each day ready to celebrate. Will there be tough times that make it hard to do? Sure. But they should be rare. Every day is a gift. A week ago or so we were asked to close our eyes, change our attitude and expectations, then open our eyes to what is before us. Maybe the first thing you see is a pet, or beautiful Mother  Earth, a child playing, neighbors walking, a new book, something you forgot you had and now see, etc. We are blessed and there is always reason to celebrate.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm..“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is the next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Listen…follow.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make celebrating the norm not the exception.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Alex and Conner met Sigrid and I for breakfast.

-Sigrid and I did shopping and got her ready for her craft event.

-Shannon had a good test results.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-Finished a  book and started another.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
