For your consideration…
It is hard to believe, but I had already forgotten about an incident that happened to me yesterday. But I was asked to recall it today, when today’s message was coming in.
Our message is this, “Be on the look out for opportunities to serve and jump at them.”
My first thought was, “Well duh, that is a no brainer.” But as I sat with the message I was reminded of all of the times I have thought about stepping forward to offer help but thought twice about it. You doubt yourself when required to approach a stranger. Or you know a friend or family member who need help but would never ask. Do you volunteer anyway? You get the picture. There are plenty of time sin our lives where we have the opportunity to be of service but we hesitate.
Our message today asks us to extend ourselves, offer ourselves up in service, whenever the opportunity is put in front of us. And on the flip side, accept the help of others.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember..You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-A movie and early dinner with Beth.
-We were able to help a man who fell down the escalators.
-A good book.
