For your consideration…
I was just telling my friend, Dianne, tha many oft our messages of late center around the importance of “us.” Today’s message uses rain as a synonym.
Just as we often tend to minimize our importance and power, we also tend to minimize that single drop of rain. But without those single drops, we would have no water. There would be no water to drink, grow crops, play with, clean with, etc. It is the single drop of rain that does its job with the collective whole that gets all these jobs done.
That is the comparison we are asked to think about when we think of ourselves. Singly we may not feel important. We may not feel like we contribute much. But we are that drop, that single person, being our authentic that contributes to the collective whole. Without the “individuals” there would be no whole.
As we have often heard that last few weeks, you are important. You being your true self is a necessary blessing to the world.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Be you.
What made me smile yesterday…
-No power so it was out to breakfast at Coney Island.
-A trip for a mani and pedi.
-A good book and nap.
-Power came on about 2:30.
-Catching up with Dianne, Vickie, and both my girls.
