For your consideration…

I can not even begin to guess how may times I have coached little students to stop saying, “I can’t.” Instead, they need to add the word “yet.” I remind them that they may not be able to do something today but they will learn and will be able to accomplish it later. They simply need to keep trying.

As adults we tend to forget that. But it is the same for us. Just because we don’t know how to do something today does not mean that we can’t learn it. We simply need to keep trying. If we stop at “can’t” or “I don’t know how.” then we will be right. We will be come a self-fulfilling prophesy.

With road construction, I have found myself not knowing exactly where I am or how I am going to get to my destination. But I always know the general direction I want to head to. So I will just keep taking turns on roads heading in that general direction and eventually I find myself back on track.

This is a good example of what our message wants us to remember. Just because we don’t know how. Or just because we don’t know the whole plan, does not mean we shouldn’t take a step in the general direction and try. Eventually we will accomplish what we want to do.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take a step into the unknown towards what you want to do.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Some weeding done.

-Movie and dinner with Beth.

-Catching up with Alex.

-A funny video of Conner.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
