Loyalty Program - The Meat Barn Warrnambool

For your consideration…

Most of us would say that we understand loyalty. We think of it as an attribute we want to have. Loyalty comforts us and makes us feel safe. Loyalty is a great thing until it isn’t.

Yes, loyalty can have a flip side just like anything else. Healthy loyalty requires that it be given and received like a gift. It is an allegiance. We tend to think of loyalty in reference to people but loyalty is bigger than that. Companies promote and count on it as in brand loyalties and employees. And we have loyalties to ourselves through attachments to our ideas, homes, hobbies, friends, etc. as well as relationships.

It is the loyalties that we have that is what today’s message is about. Because we value loyalty as and attribute we desire to have, we can get “stuck.” Think about your grandparents and that special room they decorated and then never updated or changed. Perhaps we have done the same thing. We are reminded that loyalty always needs to be that two-way attribute. It needs to be maintained and kept healthy. Sometimes we stay loyal to ideas and things long past time to let them go and move on.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever  you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make sure your loyalties are deserving and still valid.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Spent the day on the boat at the lake swimming, eating, and having fun.

-Poor Alex and James had to wash the dogs yesterday morning after they got skunked. Good news is they were successful.

-Catching up with niece, Michelle.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
