For your consideration…

I just love today’s message. It is simple, something we know but forget about…the importance of curiosity.

Without curiosity we become stagnant. Remember yesterday’s message, we were asked to “stretch.” Today’s message tells us that one of the first steps is to unleash our curiosity. Think, explore, ask questions.

Everyday in this blog we are asked to “meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” This is it. This is where we let go and listen to what wants to show up for us. This is where we…without judgment…ask and listen.

Consider this Augustine of Hippo quote, “Free curiosity is of more value than harsh discipline.”

We are never too old to be curious. Curiosity can lead to places we can never have imagined. Curiosity helps us step out of the box and out of our comfort zone. It is a good thing.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Let your curiosity free.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Oh my, I am smiling now but I wasn’t yesterday. What made me dress in hiking boots and jeans for a 5 mile hike in 80 degree weather? But I finished.

-Catching up with my girls.

-Some writing done.

-Laundry done. I’m getting ready to work for the next couple of weeks.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
