For your consideration…
My mom used to say this to us, “God helps those who help themselves.” It is an old Benjamin Franklin quote. Mom was a really hard worker so it is not surprising this was one of her favorites.
Of course, God and the Guidance he has put in place for us are always available…24/7. We often are reminded that they want to be full partners in everything we do and all of our decisions…big and small.
But our message today reminds us that we must be the Star of our life. We have to be the driver. We have to do the work.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Be the driver of your life.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Breakfast at Angelo’s with Alex, Shannon, and Mac.
-We visited Mac’s new house.
-Some shopping done. Finally, I found a new shower curtain. I would never have guessed it would be as hard as it has been.
-A good book.
-Catching up with Jackie and Mary.
