For your consideration…

I like that today’s message partners with yesterday’s. Yesterday’s  message reminded us to turn our negative thoughts around to positive by using “but.” Today’s message changes our focus.

We need to notice those things that nag us. Notice without judgment. Then look around you and notice the blessings and opportunities that are given to us. They are constant. Notice the single flower that presents itself. Notice the random acts of kindness. How about finding that coveted parking space just when you need it. Or that random phone call from a friend. Or maybe, an unexpected invitation.

Each day we are presented with things that can annoy us but we are presented with even more blessings. Be open to them and welcome them in. Focus on them.

That is the  HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.’

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Expect blessings. Focus on them. Be grateful for them.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful warm sunny day in the mountains.

-A trip into Westcliff for some shopping.

-Dinner and drink stops.

-A beautiful evening on the porch.

-A starry starry night.

Love, Blessings, Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
