Feeling anger rising? Try these 3 techniques before you explode

For your consideration…

What do we know about anger?

First, we know that it is absent of love. So that is never good.

Second, we know that it is based in fear. And that is never good.

Third, we know that it is not physically good for us because it raises our heart rate and blood pressure, etc.

Fourth, we know that we don’t mentally feel well when we are angry because it consumes our thinking. An angry ego is definitely not good.

It is ok to get angry. We all do. But it is not good for us to hold on to anger no matter how justified. The faster we can resolve our issue and let it go, the better. And don’t forget to backfill with love and blessings.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go of anger. It does not serve us well.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Good writing done.

-Catching up with Jody, Dianne, and Mary.

-Conner, Alex, and I went to dinner in Detroit then when to the Fisher so Conner could see Blippi. To say he was enthralled was an understatement. He loved everything from the floor, chandeliers, balcony, etc. of the Fisher building. He knew he was in for a treat when he saw all of the excited kids. And, of course, he loved the show.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
