For your consideration…

Indeed, “Life is good.”

There is so much about today’s message that I love. I love the feel of it. I love how it came in. I loved its idea and message, etc.

Perhaps, you are familiar with the brand, “Life is good.” I don’t know anything about how the brand was started. But I am familiar with the product. It is comfortable and feels great. So there is that to love about it. But more than that, I love that when you wear it, you wear an affirmation….”Life is good.” It is hard not not be grateful when you are wearing this affirmation.

We know that gratitude is an intention and magnet for more of the same. What better way to keep it front and center than by wearing an affirmation. The “Life is good.” brand is just an example. We can make our own affirmation to keep with us. My friend, Vickie, paints rocks. Not into painting rocks? How about carrying a stone or crystal? Or we could write it on something we will see throughout the day ie; on our phone, our vision board, etc. I used to have a neighbor, Ian, who was a great hockey player. He always wrote H.A.P. on the inside of his glove. It stands for “have a purpose.” This was pretty insightful for a teenager.

The ideas are endless. Create and affirmation of gratitude and keep it with you. It may or may not be the same everyday. We simply need to keep a reminder of gratitude close to us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Keep an affirmation of gratitude close by.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A fun day at Eastern Market with Mac and Shannon.

-Garden plants bought and ready for planting.

-Catching up with Jody.

-A good book.

-I baked a birthday cake for the May birthdays. I clearly need a decorating class.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
