Why lie when the truth will do?
Why do people lie? We lie to make themselves seem bigger or more to other people. We lie to hide something. We lie because it is easier than dealing with the fallout if we tell the truth. We lie because we do not want to face the consequences of our actions. The bottom line is we lie out of fear. We fear people will see us for who we really are. We lie because we feel ashamed of something we did. ETC…
Our message today reminds us that we are enough. We are never given more than we can handle. Our truth and our love is our biggest asset. They are the only weapons we need.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Stand in your truth.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Catching up with Jackie, Mary, and Alex.
-A trip to the nail salon.
-A great hike at Scio Church Preserve.
-Gifts wrapped.
