For your consideration…
As soon as today’s message came in I saw Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. They are the perfect example of today’s message.
We are told today that sometimes being the “straight man‘ is just as important as being the star or hero. Jerry Lewis a perfect example. He played the goof ball but we know that in real life he was anything but. However, without Dean Martin playing the straight man there would not be a successful duo.
In life, in partnerships, we each have a role to play to make it successful. We may switch roles sometimes but in any given situation we play the role that is needed. And that role is as significant and important as any other.
Be the hero no matter the role by doing it to the best of our ability. Letting someone else shine is an honor.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Be a good “straight man” when needed.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Louie and I got to spend the day with Alex, Conner, and Moose.
-Conner and I got to play outside for 2.5 hours.
-A new mystery book.
