For your consideration…

Sometimes we feel discombobulated, out of sorts, out of control, like we are adrift. We may feel like we just can’t get our arms around something or get a plan together. It is OK. We all have these times in our lives.

Today we are given a little bit of help. Of course, we are always invited to ask our Guidance. Perhaps we are but are not hearing a response. Here is what we are asked to think about today. Where do I do my best thinking? Where do I meditate/pray best? And then ask the other question like how and when.

It does not matter what works for you. It is all good. I have read about mothers sitting on the toilet or at least going in the bathroom because it is the only privacy that is respected. Often it is jogging for joggers or walking for walkers. I have a friend who loves the woods. Perhaps we do it while we are doing something else or perhaps we like to get still….sit or lay down. For myself, I have a few places. One is a chair in my library where I write this blog. Sometimes it is lying in bed looking our over the backyard. When there are leaves on the trees, there is a spot I see from the family room sofa in the woods where the trees form a heart against the sky. And of course, a very favorite is if I am by water sitting on a beach or patio with it.

Whatever works for you is perfect. We are simply asked today to pause and make sure we know that place and that remember we can access it when we need to get ourselves back in order…peace.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Identify your place.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Great 5th graders.

-Catching up with both my girls and Colleen.

-Some grocery shopping done.

-Finished a good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
