For your consideration…

There are many ways and messages that could be attached to “getting to the heart of the matter.” But today there is one that we are asked to consider.

Often we may get offended. We may feel attacked. We may feel unappreciated. We may disrespected, etc. Notice the “we may feel” in each of these examples. What we feel has everything to do with ourselves separate for the individual we are interfacing with. Our own life experiences, our own ego, puts up a lens that may color or mask the heart of the matter. On the flip side. The individual we are interfacing with is also acting through the lens of their life experiences and ego.

Our message today asks us to pause. Take a step back. Let go of ego. Search our soul. Ask Spirit. “What is the heart of the matter?” What is really going on. What is the true intention.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Always look for the heart of the matter.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny day.

-All of the branches from the storms we had is cleaned up by Aaron. He did a great job.

-Alex, Conner, Jul, and Vickie came for a St. Patrick’s Day dinner. I was happy with how everything turned out.

-Catching up with my niece, Michelle.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
