Gratitude

For your consideration…

When today’s message came in, it was via a part of a show that was playing in the background on my TV. I didn’t catch the show but I think they were interviewing an author about his book on GRATITUDE. We often have messages on gratitude so my ears perked up. I did not catch the name but as I tried googling what I remember, I think this is it. Obviously, I have not read it but I am ordering it and will soon. The segment was about the science behind gratitude. There now is scientific evidence on the health benefits gratitude brings us. Most of us are not surprised. We knew it all along. Still it is reassuring to know that there is science proving it.

We know that gratitude tells the Universe and our Guidance what we like and want more of. It is the magnet that brings it to us. It is the common language we have with our Guidance. Gratitude changes everything including our mood, emotions, and now we know the chemistry within our body. Gratitude nourishes us.

I think the book (the one I am ordering) is, Thanks!: How the New Science of Gratitude Can Make You Happier [Book] product image 1 of 1 slide

Let’s use today’s message to remotivate ourselves to practice gratitude every day. Think it, write it down, thank it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Practice gratitude,

What made me smile yesterday…

-Teaching a fun class of high schoolers.

-Beth and I went to the State Theater and saw “Emily.”

-I went to Alex and James and visited until Conner went to bed. Fun…Fun.

-Louie is home. I like for him to go have fun but I miss him when he is gone.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
