I can't take this anymore!” – 100 Pedals

For your consideration…

….do this anymore. “I just can’t do this anymore.”

I would venture a guess that virtually everyone has felt or said these words at sometime in their life. How we respond to them depends on who we are; our life experiences, our personality, etc.

Some people just can’t cope with conflict, uncertainty, etc., so they just throw up their hands and move on. Personally, these words serve as fighting words for me. They make me want to prove, “Oh yes, I can.”

Our message today tells us that there is no right response all of the time. Sometimes we need to stick with the challenge even when we think we can’t. And sometimes we need to accept that it is time that we make a course correction. Sometimes challenge after challenge is put in our path because we are on the wrong one. Sometimes what always worked no longer does because we need to be doing something new or different.

So how do we know what to do? We have to get still. Put our ego out the door or into a box. Listen to our Guidance with an honest and open mind and soul. Let Spirit in to guide us. When we feel loved, we know it is true. As we are guided, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Listen to the response. We are not alone. We always have help 24/7.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Remember there is no shame in realizing, “I just can’t do this anymore.”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A gorgeous day.

-A good walk in Rolling Hills with Louie, Jul, and Dianne.

-Dinner with Lisa.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
