All That Glitters Is Not Gold Essay in 300 Words for Students

For your consideration..

As soon as I got this message, I though about my youngest daughter, Alex. When we would shop, she was always drawn to the most outrageous and gaudy clothes she saw. If it was red with feathers and sequins. she was drawn right to it.

We are all drawn to glamor, glitter, luxury things, etc. at one time or another. We all have looked at things and wished they were ours. We all have looked at the lives of others and wished we could trade places. Not always, not often, but sometimes.

Our message today reminds us that dreams are good when they inspire us. But we are also reminded to not be seduced into shortcuts. We are reminded to look beneath the glitter and see what is real and true before we jump it.

This is the message for all of us. However, my Guides tell me that there is someone who will read this who needs to take a step back and take a harder look at something that is seducing them. All is not as it seems.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

Affirm…“I am loved.”

Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my higyhest good and the highest good of all?”

I did not lose power.\

-I have lost my internet. I did not blog yesterday because they kept saying it would come back on. It still is not on. Finally, I remembered I could use the hot spot on my phone. Dah, Chris.
