For your consideration…

Today’s message is so good for us for so many reasons.

First, we all know what habits are. Most of us have habits we are happy with and some we are not. Habits remind us that there are always “two sides to every story.” Different habits work for different people. Some habits are bad for every person while some are not.

There is a lot of data and studies that show how to create, change, or eliminate “habits.” While it may not always seem like it, we all do have control over our habits…should we choose to use it.

Read some of these memes; “Change your habits, Change your life” …”Good habits, Good life”… “Don’t make resolutions, Make habits”… “Habits, Changes”… “Motivation is what gets you started, Habits are what keep you going”…

Our message today is about changing and growing. We are reminded to maintain our good habits and build on them. If we want our lives to change, we need to look at our habits and see where we can do this. When we have habits that conflict with our goals, we need to make a conscious effort to change or eliminate it.

The key to today’s message is that habits can work for or against us and we can control which that is.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make our habits work for us.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-Ahhh, got all of my email caught up.

-Bills paid.

-New computer ordered.

-Jul and I took Louie on a good walk in Gallup Park.

-Catching up with Alex.
