For your consideration…

Yeah, I am back. The internet proved to be too challenging on my trip during the last few weeks. Before I left my computer at home has been acting up. It is old and has served me well. I have ordered a new one but I am HOPEing this one holds on until then.

Today’s message is about relationships…specifically about all human relationships. This is pretty broad and complex to be sure so it is a high-level look but an important look.

First, let’s get the bad and ugly out of the way. We understand when relationships run their course and turn “bad” or negative. They simply do not work for us anymore and start having a negative impact on us. This is part of life. The learning experience is that not all relationships are supposed to last forever.

Other “bad” relationships are those that we can’t quite put our finger on. We don’t quite know why but our instincts are put on alert. We should ALWAYS listen to them. They are there to protect us.

Now let’s move on to the good. We all belong to the human race sharing experiences and interacting are necessary. We are not meant to be alone. We are meant to encounter and interact in various relationships…from a glimpse and smile to intimate and long-term. All are important. All require some give and take. The really good news is that the first instinct of most people no matter their age, race, culture, religion, or country is to like one another. Our first instinct is to nod, smile, engage, help, etc. with one another.

The people of the world like one another. It is governments that create the discord. We are reminded about this because it is important for us to remember. It is the people that accept, like and love one another that are the glue that is holding this human experience together.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…“I am love.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Spread our light, Lightworkers.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up on sleep.

-I had the family the night before over so they could see Aunt Cathy.

-I was up at 3:00 AM to take her to the airport.

-Catching up with Joan, Michelle, and Randy. Randy was able to recommend a computer and phone for me. Just what I needed. I was putting off taking care of both of these tasks because I couldn’t figure out which to buy.

-Catching up on some recorded TV shows.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
