For your consideration…

Today’s message asks us to think of what our life’s goal is? This is a tough one because there are many parts to our lives ie; family, work, health, wealth, etc. And is tough because we may not have figured it all out yet.

However, there is an “umbrella” that we can figure out. Who do we want to be through it all? Forget the ego. Who do we want to be Spiritually? A good place to start is with our Faith. For example, Christians can look at the 10 Commandments. This is our framework and foundation that we keep in place no matter what our goals are in the various aspects of our lives.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

NOTE…

I am traveling. For the most part I have been able to get internet while on this ship. It was not terribly expensive. The next ship is very expensive so I will not be able to post for the next 12 days or so.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Keep the framework of our goals firmly in place.

What made me smile yesterday and today…

-Yesterday we were in Casablanca. Suffice to say it was difficult, indeed impossible, with someone who is handicapped. I am traveling with my sister-in-law who has difficulty walking suffering a stroke. Ultimately we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day by the pool on the ship.

-Today we visited Cuenta, It is just opposite. While security is still tight , there are taxis as soon as you get out of the port. Our taxi driver did not speak English which lead to lots of laughs. I am not sure how we got to the translation, “I want to sell your mother.” Yikes.

-The city of Cuenta is beautiful and we had lots of fun in a cafe doing our best to communicate with the people who offered to let us share their table.

-I love my Kindle. Most of you know that I read every day. I remember the days when I took a suitcase full of books when I traveled.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
