There is No Better Time to Plan a Trip to Montana's State Parks

For your consideration…

This is true. There is no better time than now.

Today’s message is not about procrastination. It is about remembering how special now is.

When we are babies and children, we live in the moment. We think it we do it. I am not sure when we start to hold things back to wait for a better time or hoard things until there is that special time to pull them out and use them.

Take a look in antique shops. They are full of the “good” china that rarely got used.  It is the same with beautiful linens.Who are we saving them for if not for our family and friends. Who is more special to us than those we love. Every time we entertain family, friends, and neighbors is the time to pull out the “good china.”

How about taking that special trip?  Most of us have had or know of someone who has had that tragic story where that special moment was all planned out and highly anticipated event only to have life take a turn and the event never happens.

How about picking up the phone to call someone. When we do make the call, we have forgotten what we needed to tell them. Or we don’t make that call and again life takes a turn and we are no longer able to talk to them. It is the same with visiting with them. Who is more worthy of our time than our family and friends?

Life happens. We don’t know what is going to happen today, tomorrow, or even the next moment. Our circumstances change. All of us will at some point we will move from our physical life to the next.

Like yesterday’s message said, we are blessed. One of the blessings we have is our personal power to think and make decisions. We can make this moment special. We can use the “good” china when family and friends come by. We can use it at the kitchen table as well as the dining room one.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

–Make this moment special. We are not guaranteed a more special one.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny day touring Tangiers, Morrocco .

-Normally I would not hire a tour guide but I am traveling with my sister-in-law who is handicapped. Our guide was so good and was able to help her navigate the narrow and steep streets.

–We met a woman a few days ago and ran into her again. She was full of great tips for finding travel deals and on-line classes.

–Late night karaoke.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
